Broke Chromoly Mounting Tab with 3/8-24 Fine Thread Floater Nut – 1/8″ Thick, Sold Individually

This tab has broke edges to sit on the side of a tube. Sometimes referred to as a trick tab. It has a floater nut similar to a nutsert for easier panel installation and removal. You’ll notice the threads are intentionally oblong to create a sort of lock nut almost like a stover nut. If the hole that you drill on your panel isn’t perfectly lined up with the floater nut, you can slide the floater nut into position. This is awesome because if you weld your tab slightly to one side, you can still get your bolt to line up with the nut.
