Winters Performance 1089 Park Safety Switch — Prevents Engine Start When Transmission Is in Gear

Description

This kit includes the bracket that bolts to the cable support. On the cable support there are two nuts that Winters already provides on their shifters. The kit has a small tab that slides over the end of the cable. When the shifter is moved to the park position the tab on the cable swings back to press this switch.
It’s extremely easy to wire. Instead of running the ignition wire from the starter switch directly to the starter solenoid, you’ll now run the wire from the starter switch to the park switch and from the park switch to the solenoid.
